James Paget hospital rheumatology

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone on here is under rheumatology at the James Paget hospital? I've recently moved to Great Yarmouth from Norwich and am wondering whether to switch my care from NNUH to JPH. I've had excellent care from the NNUH so am a little unsure about switching. Any thoughts would be very welcome.

if you have been having good treatment and it’s not going to be too inconvenient to travel to appointments this old lady, things sticking to the devil you know might be the best move!

Thanks for your wisdom. It is a bit inconvenient as I don't have a car but most appointments I have are on the phone so yes that sounds like a good plan.

Well you can wait until you know a few people in your new location & hope to get the local goss on Rheumatology can’t you?

I moved GPs & as I only moved a short distance I definitely made a BIG mistake.

After Christmas I am going to grovel & see if I can go back.

Yes that's true. I hope you manage to get back in to your old surgery. A good GP surgery makes such a difference when living with RA doesn't it?
