hi I started the injection on Tuesday and haven’t felt right since. Lightheaded dizzy at times and on and of sickness. Has anyone els had side effects from this, and how long did they last. Iv been on a lot of injections for RA but my body seems to reject them I’m just hoping this isn’t the case and others had side effects ect.

if you put that into the search box and filter for NRAS , then all the past questions about it will come up

hi. I’ve had tocilizimab twice about two years apart. It does work for me after the initial 12 weeks from starting however every week after the injection I do feel sick and look and feel ill for a couple of days It’s worth persevering with it as those two days feeling rough do get less Hope things improve for you.

That’s good to know I’ll stick it out. I’m more lightheaded than anything. But I’m not sure if it’s my anxiety taking over because Iv had such bad reactions to a lot of the RA drugs. And I suffer with health anxiety so it could be a mixture of it all. Xx

I haven’t been on your particular one, but like you several. Only one I was on I didn’t have any side affects. all the others there after have A couple I was told to stop as they clearly weren’t right for me. But I’ve stuck out in this one & like you have had similar side affects, but I could feel improvement in my RA so persevered & I’m glad I did as it has settled. Obviously you must do what’s right for you, check out what kitty says & chat with your Rheumy team & ask do they feel it’s right for you to continue? All the best 🌸
