Rituximab and Flu/Cold

Hello good people.

Any tips on dealing with a cold while on Rituximab. Do the same guidelines for Covid apply?

i usually just use lemsip drinks. Been on Rituximab for 7 years and haven’t had many colds. Had Covid twice

the first time i had antivirals which were horrible because they made everything taste dreadful. The second time I just isolated and took paracetamol. I have now had 7 doses of vaccine. Hope you are doing okay

I’m ok. I just worry about catching anything while on Rituximab. Hope it won’t come to it 😊
