Has anyone had an enlarged spleen caused by their RA, I had the same pain last year and it's back again. Last year I was told it could possibly be an enlarged spleen.. then nothing till now! Just wondered if anyone else has? All the symptoms are correct and I'm going to call the doc back tomorrow. Thanks, have a lovely evening💜

Enlarged spleen??
Unfortunately Rheumatoid Disease seems to be able to attack every part of your body. It attacked my bone marrow, so I'm sure it can attack other parts of the immune cell producing areas. But it needs checking out as you say as it could be due to other causes.
It does, people seem to assume it's just a bone disease but it's very far from just that. It should be called Rheumatoid Disease. It's already affected my lungs.Oh wow, what did it do to your marrow?
It's definitely caused by RA, saw them today. It also explains my excessive anaemia, nose bleeds and bruising I get. It's the gift that keeps giving isn't it.
Hope you don't mind me asking but what are your symptons please? x
Of course.. I felt like I had stitch there and every time I took a breath in I could feel it. My ribs felt sore like bruised to touch. If I laid on my right side it would pull on my left and couldn't breathe as the pain was so great. My left shoulder tip was sore, I'm chronically anaemic, got a fast heart rate even when my BP is normal. Feeling full when only having a few mouthfuls of food and sorry for this, when burping, the pain in my spleen is horrendous. Do you have it too?
Not sure, I get this radiating pain just above my waist on left side, a few years ago I ended up in a and e with this on both sides, they thought I had passed kidney stones x
