‘How to get the best from your consultation’ is now available and its launch is timely in the context of a changing landscape in outpatient rheumatology services.

Learn about the introduction of Patient Initiated Follow Up, how to make the most of the limited time you have with your rheumatology team and the ASK approach to making a decision about medications. nras.org.uk/smile

If you've not discovered these user friendly free educational modules yet then please do check them out. nras.org.uk/smile. Most modules take between 20 - 30 mins to complete. Knowledge is power, the more you understand your RA, the health service, even all the jargon /terms used will help make you feel more in control of your health. Self Management Individualised Learning Environment - SMILE. More modules will be developed and released next year.

Thanks for this. I have a Rheumatology Appt in Jan (first F2F in 3 years), so will go through this module before I go. 😇
