Should I Inject MTX while I have Covid

I am still testing positive for Covid should I do my usual 25mg injection of Methotrexate?

No...when I had covid I was told not to inject MTX until clear of infection. Hope all well soon!

Same. I was told to not inject till i had a minimum of 2 consectuve days clear of covid

I wasn't told nothing. I've had 4 jabs and never stopped my MTX injection. Take it every Monday morning.

Thanks everyone for your really helpful comments, I will hold off MTX till I get a clear of Covid result, which after 5 days is still strongly positive. 😟

I believe my daughter was told to await until she tested negative and then continue the Methotrexate. Hope all will be well.

I was also told to stop taking methotrexate for two weeks after my vaccination. New advice from the rheumy nurse. Its not that it is contra indicated but that the efficiency of the vaccine is reduced if you dont
