Hi everyone, hope you are all managing in this heatwave, before I start I am seeing the gp and rheumatologist for this problem, but it's proving to be a long process, anyway my question is have any of you developed lymphodema in your arm caused by chronic shoulder pain with RA.

thanks and best wishes to all

Hi not sure if is any help to you. I have RA-PN recently had a very bad episode with my right shoulder. fortunately I was due a regular checkup, phone call from my RA consultant.Had both shoulders X-rayed and now ultrasound.

Oddly i had never made a fuss about my shoulders as they were totally unpredictable.

I hope you find an answer for your problem.

Have you seen a Lymphodaema physio? They teach you how to massage the arm to disperse the swelling

Hi AG, thanks, yes the RA nurse has told me the sort of things they can do, just waiting to get a formal diagnosis, it's not that staight forward, as I had lymphoma 9 yrs ago, thanks again Best wishes Sarah
