Well finally had my referral to new Doctor. She seems very nice I could feel her empathy.a friend had said before I met Doc that I wouldn't be the only onewho had filed a complaintabout previous Rheumy . Anyway felt I had a great meeting with her (different hospital as well). She recommended 2 xrays which were done there and then. Never had that before.

She wants me to try Filgotinib a Jack inhibitor. I also had a kenelog injection to keep me going until it kicks no. Fingers crossed again. Thank you for your kind thoughts as I was struggling to be seen by a rheumatologist. Would love to hear from anyone on this biologic

Hi springcross. Where are you based ? I’ve had bad time rheumatology department wise too. Three years of it and only yelepjôe apppintments

I haven't had any problems with my hospital Luludean. I'm based in Somerset but my hospital is Bristol.

It's always worth putting the name of the medication you are looking for into the search box to find previous posts of the subject. And try the trade name Jyseleca as well.

Hi Maggie glad you have found a new doc that is showing more concern.Curious to know if you have been on a different biologic before being recommended the jak?

Been on 4. Benepale didn't work, humira one dose came out in a rash, rituximab infusions which worked for about 2 years and tocicilizumab. This one caused extreme pain in osteoarthritis in shoulder long story thus the need for a new rheumy which took 18 months
