Hi Pat, I have had two Astra Zeneca and two Pfizer vaccines, but was told by rheumy nurse that I did not need to have a fifth vaccine. Is that info correct? Who recommended your fifth vaccine? Thanks, Rhiannon

Hi. I am on Tocilizumab and so qualified for 5th jab. NHS told me to book it. It has to be 91 days or more after the 4th booster

No it isn’t. You do need a fifth. I was told after a month

Hello, yes I felt very very poorly after the Moderna vaccine - we have two children aged 5-11 and have been offered to have them a vaccine for covid-19 - but am unsure whether it's going to make them more poorly than they already are at present - I keep testing negative for Covid-19 with home tests and I work with the general public in non-critical but key working environments - so it made sense to get the full 3 vaccines at aged 50 with RA - still deliberating - any views from the forum welcome - Sri xx

Same thing happened with me Tracey, I was ok with the two Astra Zeneca ones, but I'll for two days with the Moderna one, mostly extreme fatigue and heaviness.

I’ve just had my FOURTH finally, (what a palaver!) and I too had quite a reaction to Moderna. In bed for nearly four days, feeling generally unwell and tired beyond belief. I got to the stage of thinking I’d caught something else as well…Previously had AZ for first and second and Pfizer for third. How did you get your fifth so soon? Great that you did and pleased your health authority are on top of it. When I turned up, even with an appointment, they said I was obviously not 75. I told them that I was 67. I tried all the categories we’d been given - clinically extremely vulnerable; severely immunosuppressed etc. They said, ‘ ah immunocompromised!’ - and gave me the vaccine. 😂 I’ve been trying for months to get it. When I mentioned fifth she said I couldn’t have my fifth until I’d had my fourth…😂🤣…you couldn’t make it up.

Hope you feel better soon

Hi trace58~like yourself, I received my Spring Booster yesterday 28.04.22. This is my 5th vaccine. The other 4 Vaccines were Pfizer. This time around, I have also experienced Headaches, Very Hot Flushes and a painful arm.

But, like you say "very grateful" to have received thus vaccine. The better we are protected, the better we can fight Covid.

Hope you feel better with each day that passes.

Stay Safe x
