Registered PCR kit

Hi, I have a NHS PCR kit that is registered to me as a CEV person, I need to take the test but am unsure if I need to register it anywhere before I post it off. The instructions say to register it on Gov.uk but when I try it says there has been a problem, I think because it’s already registered and I can’t find an option on 119 to ask them. Has anyone done one of these kits and just posted it and then got the result ok. Thank you

You only need to register the LFT to get access to the antivirals now. A friend of mine prior to LFTs being accepted just posted hers and got the call.

I had the same with my PCR kit and sent it without registering it. I then got a text saying I needed to register it to get the result. I had kept the number so could do that and got the result within minutes of registering. But no idea why it is saying there is a problem for you.

My last PCR test was pre-registered and you don't need to register. Just send it off.

Thanks everyone, I just sent it off and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that I get the results back ok. I'll update you with the outcome

I do think we should all be told the same thing….everyone seems to have been told something different😡. They were great at first emailing us, advising us, organising priority food deliveries etc etc and now ….😵‍💫😫

Like Maureen says, they no longer require a PCR test just your LFT as from April 1st. I registered my LFT last Monday and have had an infusion on Wednesday, I’ve been fine except for headaches and tiredness. Still a faint line today but am officially out of isolation. X
