Hi I ve finally started my infliximab infusions and already feel much better, but my appetite has grown incredibly. Has anyone else experienced this please?x

It's certainly not listed as a side effect, rather the reverse! Are you on steroids as well? I find I don't have an 'off' switch for my feeling of being full up, when I'm on higher doses or after an injection.

No not on steroids, must be me .just going through a greedy stage then 🥺. Hope you are well xxx

Hi Chezza56,

I'm sorry to hear you are experiencing changes to your appetite but it is something which would probably be worth contacting your rheumatology helpline about. Alternatively, you can speak to your local pharmacist who may be able to advise whether this could be linked to your medication(s).

You should also report this side effect via the Yellow Card scheme (visit nras.org.uk/resource/report... for more information).
