I knew the mosque because at school I had a boyfriend who's Dad was a Sqn Ldr in the RAF & was deployed to Akrotiri. He sent pictures of places he visited & this was one, by a salt lake. I couldn't think of a Christmas song relating to it so wondered how far it was from where I live to Larnaca, 2,825 miles. The song popped into my head. I know, I’m weird! 🥴
