Finally had my 2 infusions of Ritixamub, feeling better, pain wise, but it has totally wiped me out. Anyone else had this after effect.? My very first infusion was only half dose because of side effects, my next infusion was 8 months later, when I had full dose. This time, I have had 2 doses, 2 weeks apart, and as I said, it has exhausted me.

Yes I get very tired, but just take it easy and the energy levels will recover.
I haven’t linked feeling very tired to having just had an infusion. The methylprednisolone given before an infusion makes me feel like the Duracell bunny so as it wears off I do feel less energetic.
Yes, the euphoric effect of the steroid!
I was really wired after my last infusion. I had not long before had a steroid injection into my foot and was still taking oral Prednisolone as well. So with the methylprednisolone just before the infusion it's not surprising my blood pressure went very high (freaked the nurses out) and I had trouble getting to sleep that night.
I feel tired from doing nothing during the infusion day but the exhaustion is usually a few weeks later when the B cells are depleted.
I have not had that effect and have been on RTX since 2006. RTX has been a lifesaver for me. However, it has not stopped the fatigue. Could it be that? Or perhaps the Piriton or steroids given before the infusion?
Yeah I have to say that Rtx infusions floored me too for best part of a week after but the energy levels did recover somewhat after a short while. Rtx didn’t help me though and caused problems so I had to come off it.
