Hey everyone,

Is it possible to get a flare up on several joints at once? I have pain in my right shoulder and my right hand. This has never happened to me before (just one joint at a time).

Many thanks

It's very common for me to have a flare in several joints at once.

Thank you Monique. Good to know (although clearly I would rather this happened to anybody). For some reason it got a bit worried.

Unfortunately, yes it is. For me it’s a bit like that “head, shoulders, knees and toes” song 🎵 🙂 Hope your flare clams down soon x

Yes definitely, multiple joints all at once.

When I was diagnosed I had 27 swollen joints....

Yes unfortunately a flare can be in one joint consistently then say enough fun there where next or let’s have even more fun let’s attack multiple joints ... it’s a contrary bugger RA.

Yes I think you have summed it up there, as it can affect as many joints, tissues etc as it cares to and one minute you are hobbling round the next it's gone or it's moving round to or affecting other parts of your body at the same time.
