Struggling as can’t see a Rheumatologist

Mxt did not suit me and many others so I guess it is a trial and error. For me at the moment I am not on any medication since an operation I had last August. I am in terrible pain but have to wait to see the Rheumatologist end of March can anyone suggest whatI can do?

I’d ask your rheumy nurse if they can recommend/prescribe pain relief for you as that is too long to wait when you are in a lot of pain. Sorry you are having to wait so long. Often they can give you a steroid injection to tide you over. Whether a general one or a troublesome joint if one is hurting badly/swollen. Hope you can speak to someone.

If you are flexible......Ask if they have a cancellation list...when someone cancels at very short notice you are offered that slot....many hospitals have such lists. In the meantime if you have a rheumatology nurse do speak to her.
