Lucky you! It's grey and foggy again here. I can't see my mountains and feel cut off from the world. The fog damps down sound but fortunately there are lots of birds singing to lift my mood.

Come rain or shine (or fog) the birds always seem to have something to sing about and as you say it really lifts your spirits and still amazes me how such sweet sounds come from such a small set of lungs in a small body. Always a joy to hear them.

I'm glad it's sunshine where you are, it always lifts my spirits too. Our weather station is lying to us as that also says sunshine but it's raining. That said it forecasts so maybe your sunshine will be with us later this afternoon, hope so anyway as I hate being kept in from the garden. On a positive note the birds are very active today so enjoying watching their antics. Where were they when we were doing the birdwatch?
