I am posting on behalf of a friend who is about to start on Amjevita but is very worried about the side affects, as she came off a different biologic two months ago due to side affects.
She is a member of NRAS but hasn’t posted before, so will be able read your responses and reply.
Any of your experiences would be really appreciated.
Thank you.

I was switched from Humira to Amjevita. I had been stable on Humira for about 12 years so was apprehensive about the switch in case it upset the apple cart. All good so far. Pens are easy to use. I am doing just as well on it as Humira. Zero side effects, but I imagine that will vary from person to person.
painterlylady Thank you Potatos for reply, I'm switching from IMRALDI, as I was allergic to it.hope this works for me too. Glad your experience is positive.
I know its scary having to move drugs and especially if you get bad side effects. I am now off a biologic, as side effects were too severe to stay on it and this is drug number 5. However I stay positive as many on here state that it can take time to find the one that works for you. Most drugs have a form of side effect, its just how much you can tolerate and also allow the drug to get in your system and get over the initial hurdle of taking it and feeling yuk but then if it takes you down hard you just feel awful.Fingers x this one works for you
I started it about 4/5 months ago without side effects. It has amazingly fixed my 10 year long history of anaemia. The iron infusions worked for the first time ever and I haven’t had to have another infusion since I started Amgevita. It hasn’t done it for my knees so they are moving me along to another Biologic rxt or Baricitinib. I do highly recommend giving it a go. I was on a high dose of MXT and losing my hair before they switched me to Amgevita. It hasn’t been ‘the one’ for me but it has given me great hope.
