I have had Reactive Arthritis for the last 3 and 1/2 months and am now starting to see improvement with my movement, however as I am getting braver and doing more, I am pulling and hurting my muscles very easily when I try and start to do things, so does anyone know where I can look for getting some advise on the best exercises to try and free up my muscles that have not been used in all the time whilst I have been hardly able to move please?
Thanks in advance!

My Rheumatologist recommended a DVD called Tai Chi for arthritis, by Dr Lam. I got it online and it's amazing how much it has helped my muscles and joints without straining them.
Another vote for Tai Chi for Arthritis.I had 121 lessons but she also gave me the DVD and I could have learnt it from that and often watched it while practicing.
I hand been doing Pilates with the rehab team as well and on its own it isn’t nearly as good and helpful for me in my present state. I suffer quite a lot afterwards and for more than a couple of days. Both of these can be done sitting down... for those of us who can’t stand to do the exercises yet. 👍🏻
