Pain killers
I think they are usually prescribed for mild to moderate pain. My GP prescribed Zapain for me for severe pain. They are much stronger I think and also very addictive but if you just take at night to help you sleep for a short time that would probably be ok.
I assume you can’t take NSAIDS or I would suggest Naproxen.
I would let your GP know the codrydamol didn’t work for you. Has the cause of the problem been identified?
Thank you for yr reply. Haven’t tried Naproxen. I will ring my doc today to say that codrydamol didn’t have any effectDon’t know the cause of the pain, the doc I saw yesterday said it was muscular. I did wonder if I need hip replacements, have had both knees replaced because of RA.
I've had Zapain it worked well for the short time needed and Pregabalin for Shingles pain. Both need to be used very carefully as addictive but to be frank it hurt so bad I didn't care. lol I never got addicted but do know someone who did.
