Hi everyone, hope all is well despite the lockdown. Just wanted to ask if anyone is taking this biosimilar and how long it took to work? I started this on 20th October and am on 40mg once a fortnight. I know its not going to work asap but my joints are more painful now than before. Any advice would be great 😊

They maybe need to investigate further , could be joint damage . Personally I'd ring the helpline for advice tomorrow. In the meantime ice and painkillers?

I was on Humira the original and it was changed to Imraldi well over a year ago. I haven't felt the same as when on Humira but my rheumatologist thinks I am doing well.

Will give it some more time and see how it goes. Glad you are better x

I don't think I am better. I still have pain and my knees are swollen. I have been like that for 4 years. My rheumatologist said it was osteo arthritis and refused to let me have an X ray or scan. Then in August I had an X ray and it showed it wasn't OA. I have since had an MRI but don't know the results yet.

Im sorry to hear you are in pain. Its a shame that with all the meds out there, there isnt one that works how its meant to. Hope you get some relief soon. X

Thank you. I am waiting to see what is wrong with my knee. If it is inflammatory arthritis it will prove Imraldi and Methotrexate are not working. I don't know what else it can be though.

I have sero negative inflammatory arthritis. All my blood tests are normal but this time my esr level was 10 so little concerned. I really hope they give you some reason for pain. Have you got fluid build up?

I have got swelling round my knees and have had fluid taken off several times and a steroid injected into the knee. It used to help for about 3 months but the last 3 times it only lasts for a few weeks and last time the swelling came back in a couple of weeks. I was diagnosed with Sero negative arthritis to start with and I have never tested positive for anything but I also have Sjrogrens. To start with I was diagnosed with polymyalgia but didn't respond to steroids as I should have. My ESR was higher last time, about 10 I think but they don't seem to worry as I think some people are normal at 10. I have been about 4 or 5 other times for ages but I notice when I am up to 10.

Wow. I had my knee drained last year and it was painful. I had am injection into bursa two weeks ago and that was painful but pain has crept back in so its useless having more. Im thinking of having surgery to remove it. I will keep you posted. Thank you again for your support x

Good luck getting an operation. I expect you are not in the UK? I have to wait and see the scan result to find out if an operation is necessary. My next appointment is April so expect to find out then.

Lol im in London but my consultant is amazing but i know waiting list will be long. Wishful thinking i think.

Oh I wasn't sure, I thought maybe America! You probably have Osteo arthritis then which would probably be an operation or new knee but mine isn't arthritis, at least not OA. It just means a lot of time wasted not allowing me to have a scan for the last few years. We only have one life and it goes just waiting for appointments with the hope something might be done.

Ive got bursitis in right hip and its been so painful. Only had it a year ago but they havent said whats causing it. Both parents have RA and OA.

I had a hip problem and had a hip replacement 3 years ago. Have you had any scans in your hip? X-rays might not show up everything.

Hi had mri and showed damage to tendon in bursa but scan showed inflammation in bursa.

Can they operate for that? I don't think I have heard of any being done.

Apparently they can remove the bursa or the tendon but I am not sure of how it actually works in the long term.

I never knew that. I hope if you have it done it all goes well.

Thank you. CNS said i need to be on it for 12 weeks and see. They might add hydrochloroquine to it but im sceptical of taking that considering the side effects from methatrexate, sulphasalazine and leflumunide were terrible.
