Hi. Does anyone else get a mild fever when they flare?. I’ve had a flare going on for 2 weeks and the couple of times I’ve taken my temperature, it has been just over 38 degrees. It’s not COVID as I had a test.

Yes I do. My temp can rise to around 37. 7 when I'm flaring, often it is a bit lower though...37. 4 ish. I believe it us quite common to have a mildly raised temp when flaring.
Yes, I certainly do! Several times I haven’t noticed I had a low grade fever but when being checked over by my GP they noted it and usually run some bloods to ensure it isn’t due to an infection. Keep an eye on this as although a slightly fluctuating temperature is normal it shouldn’t be going on for any length of time. Maybe check your yr temperature at regular intervals for few days and if it frequently is on the higher side contact your GP for advice. Some people’s normal temperature can be on the higher side ( as mine is) so it’s understanding your normal to be able to note changes. Hope your flare subsides soon.
Yes all the time 🥺
Yes I do. I also get nauseous. My consultant dismisses this but it happens every time
Yes I do too x but just be careful you dont assume it can also be a sign of infection
I have had constant low grade fevers for several months. It can be autoimmune and we (my GP and I) assumed it was. My rheum was less convinced and thinks I need more tests as chronic lung infection is more likely to be the culprit. Please don’t do what I did and assume, do get checked out.
Yes I Do Elmo. I always think I'm getting the flu. It's the RA.
Me too, I’m like that most of the time . My family refer to it as my ready brek glow
