I didn’t do this when I used to inject Humira fortnightly so sorry can’t help. Can you speak to your rheumy nurse tomorrow or leave a message on the helpline? I think they should give you the advice re when to next inject. Can you set yourself a diary alarm on your smart phone as I do this to change my pain relief patches so I don’t forget. x

Always check your calendar and write everything down! I can’t remember otherwise. You’re fortunate there weren’t any negative side effects.

Give the hospital a call to check you won’t be the only one that’s done this. I haven’t been on fortnightly meds so haven’t done this particular one but mixed enough things up in my life to know it happens.

I did that once a while back, luckily no ill effects, was about 8 days later and suddenly thought I hadnt taken it.! I try to keep a record on my phones calendar! But sometimes forget I was a whole week late this time! The weeks blur into one! Hopefully all will be fine , take care

You will probably be told or to worry when you call the Rheumatology nurse. If you feel unwell as a result of taking it too soon, obviously call 111.

We all do this kind of thing from time to time. 🙂

I agree with all the replies here, check with your RA nurse just for re-assurance.

But In future can you not put the dates on your injections so that you check the injection if you’ve forgotten to check your calendar!

Hope your well and keeping safe x

Yes, I got that T-shirt. I didn't feel any different afterwards and just got back to the two weekly injections. Of course we are all different, so if you are worried, call a medic of sorts. All the best.

Thanks everyone for your replies.have got up this morning feeling fine,no side affects, just a bit more tired but this was probably due to the fact I couldnt get to sleep as I was a bit uptight and annoyed at myself that I hadn’t double checked.i have now put date for a fortnight in my phone.

I've just injected with my Amgevita (used to be Humira). think this is cheaper for them. I'm 3 days late. I hadn't put it on the calendar for May weekend. I've now put reminders into June. Maybe I should do the whole year. I agree that for peace of mind about next one, maybe ring the people that deliver your injections, they have a pharmacy dept. X
