Is it normal to see your pulse beat in your wrist?

I hope everyone is keeping safe and well.

I have a question I hope someone can address - well you can see it in my title.

I noticed today whilst on a conference call, never seen this before that my pulse is pulsating very visibly in my wrist - I thought how odd and is this normal as new to me. Can't get hold of doctors these days and also on all these meds thought I would put it out there.

Appreciate any feedback...

Hessie ☺️

Yes it is......in the old days that was where the nurse gripped your wrist and counted the beats to her pocket watch. xx

I’m not sure how normal it is to be visible. We watched my leg actually do this jumping slightly with and as if my heart was beating in my leg🤷‍♀️ It quite concerned my husband at the time , this has happened twice. Leg was hurting too , so don’t know how normal it is but sure not normal to notice it in all these years of life for the first time 🤷‍♀️

Best wishes

So you had a double whammy - jumping and pain. The things we go through - I am noting all these oddities which is great to put out to this forum, I shall certainly speak to my consultant next visit or before. Thankfully it improved the next day. Hope you are doing well now. Best. Hessie 😌

I can see mine and expected to when I read your question tbh - sort of assumed that it would be visible if I looked closely 😊

I notice mine now and again.
