Could not believe it a neighbour of mine is 75 her boyfriend is 85 he pops to hers most weekends as it’s lockdown he moved in and celebrated his 85 birthday she invited 15 people just in the front garden trying to keep 2 mts away but most of them were deaf so they had to get close popping champagne passing sandwiches around if this was teenagers they would be the first to complain how selfish don’t they realise we are all giving up being with our loved ones it was so unbelievable for oap s to act that way I think they knew I didn’t approve as my daughter is a nurse on the front line . PS I didn’t get an invite 😂but I wouldn’t of gone any way STAY AT HOME stay safe clap tonight 👏👏👏

Selfish people
Mine are doing a very very noisy dusty house extension knocking down the whole back ...
It’s catching this laxidaisy Attitude mine has her grand children every afternoon and my sisters. Neighbour is a nurse( you won’t get your breath) on her days off her boyfriend comes to stay overnight ( she has 2 children)🙄🙄no hope
There's a lot of it about. A relative was getting bored at home so she went to stay at her friend's home. She has two children and the friend has a toddler. A thoroughly spoilt brat who does as she pleases despite everything. I could scream
Another clear case of shifting the goal posts to suit and nice that he was able to celebrate his milestone birthday, however was it really worth the risk to all who selfishly and foolishly participated in this 'celebration/ shin dig' not only to themselves and the potential others they may go on to infect....I think not. Young or old it doesn't matter who they are. They are all making our lives harder and contributing to people getting sick and dying for such foolish acts. Sorry it really does sadden and upset me. So I can understand your frustrations and more so having someone working on the front line....I will be out there tonight clapping.
Well if they were all over 70 & develop CV19....chances are it was a farewell party as well as a birthday party.
So it won’t happen again!
My neighbour had her mother and father who are both in their seventies in her garden yesterday enjoying a cup of tea,i don,,t think they know what self isolating means.
Don’t know about having more sense at that age. My husband who shops said the other day that some old guy (husband is 73!) kept crowding out a younger girl in the 2 meter zone outside Tesco.
The poor girl kept asking him to move back and he said things along the ‘stuff the 2meters’ etc until along came the Tesco employee who said he either kept the distance or she would put him out of the queue ‘and don’t think I won’t ‘
Wonder if he was your neighbour shopping for his big bash. The world seems to be full of idiots doesn’t it. Age seems not to come along with wisdom.
