Hi, it depends on what drugs you are on as to whether you are in the at risk groups, see the post with advice from rheumatology and Victoria 's pinned post (from NRAS).
But, no matter what drugs you are on, working with patients is a high risk activity. Have you spoken with your HR department t ?
im taking Baraticinib just now and it has been working well - were all stressed with this situation and that as we know can flare us up. i will try them now - thank you so much for your response best wishes

Baricitinib is on the table of drugs that puts you at increased risk. I take it too.
But if you are well controlled with no comorbidity then only counts as moderate on that chart .....which is difficult as means employers don’t have to put you on leave!
But surely the NHS should be a better employer!
With out a doubt I would say you a vunerable I think you nurses are angels and god bless you all you should be payed double big thanks from everybody xxx take care
thank you i actually feel like i am letting them down - i called the GP they are saying i am in the at risk group. management are saying i should be ok in an office environment within the hospital?
Really ? Goes against government guidelines
thats exactly what the GP said ! thanku

so it looks like occupational health will assess me xx Tell me with RA do you guys find stress increases pain? xx
Stress sends my RA to spin out of control.... I’m no use physically stiffness lack of mobility and fatigue to the point it disables me
has there been lots of research into this? im a also a survivor of domestic abuse and i do believe that stress triggered my disease onset xx im sorry to hear that - you know im so used to being in pain but when were stress free the odd reprieve is to be relished

I believe there has been research if you google RA and stress you may find the answer your looking for. Sorry you you have had to live through domestic abuse but as you said your a survivor. Auto immune disease.... some people believe there was a trigger others we just got unlucky x
That's good you are getting an assessment, be very clear about your health issues and recent flare.
sorry just getting the hang of this! ive been assessed and i am moderate risk so its back to work but no patient care xx
