Hi

I have this by infusion once a month. Occasionally get a mild headache the day after but nothing more than that.

Have been gradually reducing my methotrexate dose as the abatacept helps more and more.

I inject abatacept weekly. It's my fifth biologic and certainly works better than the previous ones, plus less problems with infections. Hope it's the one for you!! Good luck.

I started abatacept 6 months ago, have up 3 DMARDs for 1 weekly injection. It has worked really well for me, controlling swelling and pain better than anything else previously. I really hope it works for you too.
