Last week I went into the most awful flare I have ever had. I went to the hospital yesterday and was given a 16 strength steroid injection in the bum. I have had them before but never known the strength I have been given. Does anyone know please how strong a 16 is in the scheme of things?Thanks

It depends which steroid you had.......speak to your rheumy nurse,she will explain.
And what unit is being used. Mine are done by volume, so get between 80ml and 180ml.
