Biologics after 29 days...

Hi all, kept meaning to update but we have a house move on the horizon so pretty busy at present.

Well I had by 3rd biologics similar Imraldi injection Tuesday & am now noticing a big difference in pain & inflammation & am less stiff in the mornings. Lumps at the back of my knees have gone down, hence knees more flexible, hands too more flexible except where there is pre existing damage to thumb & first knuckle. Feet easier, again lumps on ankles still there as pre existing damage but way less painful...

The bad news is that the fatigue is still as bad, in some ways perhaps feeling better has encouraged me to do more hence “crash bang wallop” & I should really know better & heed the warning signs..

I do have one worry which I’m now going to put on a separate post but apart from that, I would say the biologics

are a definate BIG PLUS..so to all you fellow warriors out there, GO FOR IT....💐💃❤️

So pleased your new medication is beginning to work for you. I had a similar problem with fatigue after starting biological and was advised by others in this forum to increase my vitamin B12, which helped considerably. I had cut my red meat intake (trying to follow the Mediterranean diet) so was probably low in that vitamin. I now take a supplement and eat Marmite, which I love.

Thank you, I’ll get a supplement I just hate marmite though🤢

Thats so good to hear! Mine worked too after about a month and I got my life back again. One of my ankles will never be the same again, but I can live with that. I found the fatigue does improve, although saying that, I may have a stay in bed day today haha. I run a business and my team have been in the land of the big sulk this week as I pulled them up over a client issue. Exhausting!

Hopefully, you’ll continue to improve and the dark days when you asked yourself, is this how life will be, will be a thing of the past.

Thank you Wendy, you were one of the people on here that gave me some impetus to Push the consultant for Biologics.. 1 very much appreciate that.. I know what you mean about “an in bed day” ( or dressing gown day) I had one yesterday, felt drained over problems with our house move.. the most awful buyers & sellers we have ever come across who constantly tell lies.. if it wasn’t for that I think I would feel even better on the biologics.. both my ankles have gone now but hey ho as long as I can walk who cares if they look like Norah Batty’s... take care xxx

Hi Julia, wonderful to read that you are doing well, so encouraging. Moving house is one of the most stressful things you can do which wears even the fittest people down.

Day 3 on Imraldi, no side effects (fingers crossed?).

Still don't want to tempt fate yet by declaring how I feel as it is too early. I am so hopeful though and take great comfort from all the input here.

I think with the first you start to feel better after about a week but then you start going down a bit a few days before your 2nd one.. takes a while to build up in your system.. good luck xx💕

That is good, Juliachoo! I mean the biologic working for you, not the problems with lies from both buyers and sellers. Moving can be so very stressful.

There’s no way I could cope with that at present. I hope it soon smooths out and you get into your desired home without any hitches.

Thank you but our sale fell through yesterday as the bottom of the chain can’t get a mortgage & has lied about this along with our buyers for 13 weeks..💕💕
