Now I used to do this for when I was excited about a holiday or going somewhere special. NOW I am doing it, as I get to see my consultant for first time in ....you guessed it 8 days.

How times have changed.

Perhaps build in some room for disappointment too? I nearly always feel that the consultation has not met my expectations....but the expectations were too high anyway.
