A big thank you to everyone who responded to my request for advice on whether to increase MXT or not and by how much. Your help gave me the knowledge and confidence to ask for a small increase to 17.5mg - the the doctor said at first it wasn't possible as that dose wasn't available in injection form . Thanks to this forum, I was able to say (as tactfully as I could!) that i was sure i had read somewhere (ie on here!!) that it was available and he checked and said oh yes i can prescribe that. So a big thanks to you all - for the practical advice but also the support and confidence you gave me for my appointment today.
