Well I promised I would come back and update you after my consultant appointment. Unfortunately we are no further forward. The hospital hadn't got the results of the tests the gp had ordered but he's pretty sure I DON'T have RA. But he doesn't know what I do have either.
So I've had more blood tests and hip and feet xrays and he's put me on naproxen and oemprazole. But I've been taking them for 36 hours now and I feel shocking mentally. Pain has gone but I just keep crying. Anyone know how long it takes to get used to naproxen? Im not convinced its for me...

I'm so sorry . I know from my own experience how awful it feels to have no diagnosis . At least the pain element has been sorted at present . I waited 15 very long years for a diagnosis and have only had it for 2 1/2 and it's been removed . My symptoms haven't changed they're the same as they were 17 years ago . The only advice I can give you and I wish I'd done it is keep a pain diary write everything down . Always take someone to your appointments. You know your own body pace yourself don't be hard on yourself and others . It will take some adjustments but you'll get there 🤞you get some results soon . Keep up with gentle exercise as the keeping moving is important and releases happy endorphins . 🤗🌷
It's not surprising that you are feeling like crying all the time and feel awful. It's a natural reaction after building up your hopes of a solution and that you would be given answers. I often feel worse after going to the hospital for an appointment as I often feel very let down. It's often easier to blame the medication but it's not likely that is making you tearful.
