Strange smell and taste

I am on 15mgs methotrexate by injection and find that for a few days after injection I have a a mysterious smell in my head also a taste and a choking feeling in my throat. Smells like fumes, live abroad and away from traffic , have no boiler so not that. Anybody else have this?

I used to get a metallic taste a day or so after injecting MTX which settled just before time to inject again !

Thanks mmrr thought it might just be me the only solution seems to be to eat not practical really.!

Speak to someone - doctor, pharmacist, rheumy ASAP. This may be something telling you something. And it may be nothing. But find out.
