Another question. Anyone having or worrying about possible problems getting these drugs post-Brexit?

Err no, can’t say I am. But maybe I will be now 😊

No point worrying is there Kitty.....either we get them or we don't.

I'm sure those responsible for ensuring the UK continue to get the meds we need are doing enough worrying for all of us,

in reply toAgedCrone

I’m not worrying really AgedCrone, in fact I said the same as you to my husband last night. Worrying makes no difference so I’m not going to. 😊

I guess I was just wondering if anyone had heard any stories from their Rheumy or Pharmacist.

I'm a member of NRAS and got an email with a link to send to my local MP stating my concerns. I duly sent off the email to the numpty we have as local MP and I'm waiting for a reply!!

Would anyone tell us? Or just fob us off.

It was on last nights news, pharmacy's have been advised to stockpile for 6 weeks so we don't have too. Make of that what you will!!!

I've been taking both of these for a few weeks only but seem to be doing fine on the. I was not aware it would be an issue! Something to raise with the Dr at my next appointment, thanks for raising it!

Just watched the six o’clock news reporting on possible fresh food shortages, so it’s not beyond the bounds of possibility that there will be medicine shortages too...

Stop watching the news as it’s all about fear and doom and gloom. There’s not a thing we can do about it anyway, so no point getting worried 💖💐

As we are totally dependent on these drugs l feel we have to be aware of this.By ignoring the news and relaxing we can't solve the problems. I like the idea of raising the issue with the local MPs ,NRA and in powerful forums.Surely Brexit is having widespread adverse effects n our economy, freedom of movement etc. Thanks for alerting to this.

If the drugs we are presently taking are not available I'm sure our physicians will find alternatives to keep us comfortable until things settle down.

No point in writing to anybody I'm afraid.......things will muddle along as they have for the last few years......when the politicians get fed up with "negotiating " decisions will be made & whatever it turns out to be "normality" will return.

All I'm worrying about today is how much snow we will get!

Oh god... I haven't thought about that at all until now. I hope no one panics and starts stockpiling because then we will all be in serious trouble.

scaremomgering that's what the news is all about

how did anyone survive before Brexit

I never watch the news, turn it over, turn radio off when the news comes on

don't have any newspapers

living in fear breeds control

I have a theory that there is a group of faceless people sitting in a back room somewhere discussing what the next bit of scaremongering they can come up with should be!!!

If anyone is asking me if I'm afraid that the medications upon which I rely for relief runs out or gets delayed due to government incompetence and three completely useless Brexit secretaries worries me, then the answer is yes.

I think hospitls are stockpiling already as a med. I need is 'having manufactoring problems" in the community pharmacies but its in the hospital. Its not an RA med. though, and to be honest nothing we can do anyway.
