Gabapentin

I was prescribed gabapentin for my fibromyalgia pain due to the opioid epedemic. I used to be on a low dose of Vivaldi. Once on the gabapentin my hands, forearms, feet and knees started to hurt. It did nothing for my fibromyalgia pain. I have been off of it for months and my feet, hands and forearms are fine but I am still left with the terrible pain in my knees

Gabapentin did nothing for me. I persevered & got to 1800mg but it just didn't help. I was prescribed it for neuropathic pain. Once my GP was confident it was out of my system I started pregabalin (specifically Lyrica as it was licensed for use in neuropathy, generic pregabalin wasn't) & haven't looked back, it suits me very well, I take 300mg a day. I'm not sure about the other med you mention, I don't know it I'm afraid so can't help there.

I hope you manage to find something to help ease the pain in your knees Emma.
