Well I started the injections in May, I thought it was going well. I was taking Erelzi. I started having Light headed episodes, really bad sometimes. I couldn't move and they sometimes I would be sick. These episode were very draining and would take several days to get over. During this time I had to rely on my children and grandchildren to help as I wouldn't drive. I would see the GP and see what she said , stop your Erelzi but keep on the Methotrexate pens as you've been on them for a long time with no trouble. I am also having a heart monitor for 24hrs. as my pulse keeps going very high. I don't fell much different so I don't think it was helping much.

Hi Chris, does you Rhumatology offer a helpline you could call on Monday? Hopefully you can get to the bottom of whether it’s Erelzi. Hope you have a relaxing weekend ahead. Sarah xx
I'd go to see your rheumatologist ASAP if I were you. I had similar symptoms after being on Methotrexate very successfully for 7 years...for no reason it suddenly disagreed with me. My Rheumatologist took me off it immediately.
Of course your GP may be right, but most GP's don't have enough knowledge of Dmards to make informed decisions when you are having these symptoms.
Better to upset your GP by getting a second opinion, than having more episodes.
If you can't get an appointment with the Rheumy definitely call your Rheumy nurse & ask her advice.
The heart monitor would only test your heart...to see if it's ticking away quite normally.......it isn't meant to make feel any different. Whoever fitted it would tell you there is anything amiss.
Hope you feel better soon......do contact your Rheumy team.....they are the ones who prescribe your drugs.
I did ring the help line as my GP said to do. They just said yes stop Erelzi and we'll bring your appointment forward. It's not been brought forward so I see them next month. I still use Methotrexate and have no problems. Thanks for replies.
