I've just returned from an emergency appointment at the clinic and I have been approved to move to Biologics.
I feel a bit strange celebrating being on medication, but if it means restoring my life again, it's definitely something to celebrate. Apparently, I have far too much life ahead of me to keep tweaking with the current meds
I've added a pic of my two gorgeous Egyptian rescue cats - they never fail to make me go awwww

Wonderful news! I can understand your mixed feelings but, hey, the chance of getting your life back must be brilliant. Your cats are so beautiful all snuggled up together and I envy you. We had a cat hammock much beloved by my mog Genghis and, although he's been gone over 8 years now, I still miss him
They fight over the hammock. Ive had the tabby 2 years and for a year, she was a hissy spitty madam. The Egyptian Mau is only 2 and I've had her for a year. She was scared of her own shadow. She's still quite feral, but they adore each other now.
We ended up buying two. One for Genghis, who was enormous and another for Cookie who was short and tubby because they hated each other. Both rescues and black moggies 'cos black cats are not popular and don't get adopted. I've not seen a Mau before and she's beautiful. I love cats but, unfortunately, have become allergic so no more for me.
Awww I used to have a black cat. She was a cutie. You can't see too well on the pic, but Maus have huge gooseberry eyes, big pointy ears and are spotty. Their back legs are longer than the front and they can leap vertically to extraordinary heights. They're direct descendent from the cheetah.
Getting your life back in whatever form that takes is definitely cause for celebration - go for it! Loving the gorgeous kitties - I lost my little furbaby two years ago, and have always said I will only have another cat once I’ve done lots more travelling, but photos like this really make me hanker...😻
I know what you mean. I get a cat sitter when I'm away. I'm considering moving to the Algarve. They already have a passport so they'll go in the removal van 😂
