I was reading through posts in the early hours, as you do , as finding it hard to sleep with the swelling in my knees and came across your thread.

Firstly may I say Many Happy returns of the day!

Then how are you getting on with your plan for taking your Meds? I know the Rheumy helpline said no one was available until September the 4th but did you leave a message anyway?

How are you feeling? Hoping the Mthx doesn't spoil your day.

Phoned docs and spoke to practice nurse and booked blood tests.

Took MXT yesterday (had busy weekend) and FA today, so far so good.

Hi Purl ,

I bet your weekend was very busy but in a good way!

Well that's good that you are ok so far , I always felt I had dodged a bullet with my liver not tolerating Mthx.

However for some it is just a wonder drug and sends them straight into remission. I sincerely hope you are one of these and don't suffer too many side effects.

Best of luck to you , there is loads of advice on here regards Mthx and Folic acid and tips for dealing with how they can make you feel.
