Caffeine shampoo for Mtx hair loss?

I've just changed from Mtx tabs to injections and the dosage has been upped to 20mg. I'm experiencing slight hair loss at the moment and I don't want it to get any worse. Has anyone tried caffeine shampoo to help with this. I currently use a pro-age shampoo which does help to make my hair look a bit thicker but the recent hair loss is worrying.

Struggling to type today,, There is a coffee out there called death wish coffee, I am not sure if the shampoo strength but have heard from friends back home that coffee oil works well and is much cheaper.

I keep seeing the adverts but I don't know how good it is. It's worth a go, after all if it doesn't help it won't hurt

I could live with that Minty! I find it odd that I get extra hair growth from steroids and then hair loss from Mtx but it all happens in the wrong areas.

I'm curently losing hair myself thanks to MTX and Sulfa and I use the caffeine shampoo. It is making the hair I do have grow like wildfire but unfortunately, it isn't helping the shedding itself. I've just been using Triple Eight, which is 99p in Home Bargains.

One tip I do have though, a bit of dry shampoo helps your hair look a little thicker. I've seen those root touch up sprays recently and am thinking about trying one out in the hope it makes my scalp a little less visible. I'll report back on that one..

I'll give triple eight a go, that's a lot cheaper than that planter 39 stuff at around £8.

Can't tell anything about shampoo, currently using Living Proof for thickening effect. But can recommend caffeine-based hair mask from Ultrax, like one mentioned in this article - mystraightener.com/best-hai... . Was using it for some time trying to restore my irritated skin. Gotta love its aloe vera and oil mix. Just need to use it carefully and not very often, also it's extra sticky and pricey.
