There has been numerous posts about diet on how it affects our disease. Some of you have made diet changes some eat what they feel like. For me, pre RA I ate pretty well. I found it quite easy because I like a lot of foods that others call rabbit food. The past few months my weight has fluctuated quite significantly. 2 -3 weeks ago I couldn't get my jeans fastened. Today, I can't only get them fastened, I still have room! Now here's the thing, for the past week or so I have had no bread, no pasta, no sugar. I have ate fish every day with leafy greens, salads avocados. Lots of veg and fruits. I look better and FEEL better. Haven't seen many fat FISH or unwell one's so maybe hit on something here....😄

Thanks for your post. This is a very good point that I didn't consider. I would describe the weight gain as puffy too so it could well be the inflammation fluctuating rather than the food so much. I'm going to stick with my current diet though because for nothing else - it's healthy that's for sure. Maybe need to re think my wardrobe too! X
