I am looking to connect with other young people that have RA or others that were diagnosed when they were young. I am in my 20's and was diagnosed at 13. I live in the South East/London area and have spent many years coping on my own but would now like to open up to others.
If there's anyone else in a similar position, it would be great to talk.

It's a website aimed at young people with (any form of) arthritis. There's also a facebook group. There are a good number of young people active there. I am a little old for that community myself (I'm 36), but I also sometimes feel a little young for this one, so it's a nice balance. You could also try the helpline, I've not tried it, but one of the things they do is to connect you with peers.
Thank you, I will have a look at both! I used the helpline and they pointed me in the direction of this forum, but I'm grateful to have more information.
I do, not a huge amount but definitely more than I should, but I didn't for the first 4 or so years so my body could get use to it, how long have you been on it?
I haven't had any issues since drinking, and it's fairly easy to know if my body can take it any time I drink so I think the main thing is to listen to your reactions as you go.
How are you coping with the new diagnosis? You must still be adjusting, it being so recent!
