Hi friends, have a question. Inspite of taking the medication I still have severe swelling, stiffness and pain in both my knees. In the beginning it was my right knee but now both my knees. The doctor asked me to take MRI scan for knee.

My question is, should I take both the knee or just one knee? I'm just thinking of taking for one knee as it could be the same problem! What do you say. Have any taken MRI scan for knees. Your suggestion will be appreciated

Are you in Uk? If so your doctor will request the exact MRI scan he wants done.....he will complete the the necessary forms & send them to the right department.

If outside UK....you will have to ask your doctor exactly what he needs.

Hope you get sorted soon.

I would telephone his secretary & ask her to ask the doctor EXACTLY which knee or both he wants scanned.
