Hi all have not been here for a bit but sorry to moan. Have been trialling Barictinib took it for a month and had nausea herpes mouth ulcers seeing double unsteadiness wooden feeling when walking, Now developed a chest infection. Pain incidentally was no better at all so very disappointed 😞 an disheartened anyone else tried this ??

How frustrating and very disappointing for you. The sooner treatment can be targeted rather than pulled out of a hopeful hat the better!

edit...just had my rheumatology appointment via email for June 28th, so a good few weeks to go before I start taking BARI.

I’m just about to start this. I won’t hold my breath then lol I’ve tried six biologics after all the DMARDS nothing seems to work for me 😢

Same here I think I am going to stick with Paracetamol and prednisolone at least I know I am not going to have the adverse effects. I wish you good luck 🍀 😊

I just read about this dmard and got excited because I can't take biologics. Bummed to read this. After what has happened to you, I am not even going to consider it. I am so sorry about what it did to you, but I thank you for sharing. It is so horrible to go through all those problems and still not get pain relief. Baricitinib was just recently approved here in the US and I don't know of anyone who is on it. I don't know what I would do without HealthUnlocked!
