Traveling with benepali

Anybody ever used Frio insulated bags,

Can benepali go through the x Ray machines at an airport

I travelled with Benepali last year. The Frio bags do not keep it cool enough. Best are medicool bags which keep drugs between 2 and 8 degrees It does not go through X-ray. Just tell officials that you are carrying it and they will examine it. You will need a letter from your provider and a copy of your prescription which they will want to see.

You can actually leave Benepali at room temperature once you get to your hotel. I think it is for about a week. But if you do so it must not go back in the fridge or cool bag

Much easier than my dratted Actemra which HAS to be kept at the correct temp. A nightmare when travelling for over 24 hours as I am about to do!

Yes they can just tell security u are on injections and have a letter for puff in case they ask for it gp or hospital will give u 1 .amy

Hi I flew to Canada last Saturday with benepali in a Frio duo bag, it was really easy. Healthcare at home supplied a letter which I showed to the security people along with the benepali , they didn't put it through the xray machine as it can destroy the active ingredient, after checking the letter and the medication they past it all back to me after I had gone through the scanners and I put it back into my hand luggage. The Frio bag can be reactivated every couple of days and this is sufficent for the benepali pens as they can be out of the fridge for up to 4 weeks as long as they are used during that time, they can not go back in to fridge.
