Every so often I am immobilised by neck pain. I was supposed to have a CT scan but Hereford county cocked up and it didn’t happen. I’ve moved region and am awaiting GP and new rheumatologist. Anyone else have severe pain neck/back of head? Is it tendons? Any ideas to relieve it?

Yes I get this and posted here the other day about it. In my case I’m only aware of some left sided root changes but my last MRI was in 2016 so maybe it’s affecting other parts of my neck too now as I have developed dizziness and tinnitus since the last one was done.

Oh my! Just looked back at your post. I’ve been wondering about Sjögren... I have some jaw/dental issues. But I don’t have facial problems. Very occasional tinnitus. It’s a double edged response: I’m not alone versus it can be worse. I’m seeing new GP this week- hoping to start fresh and get some real action. No question I need to get on top of this. Thx for response - good luck.
I hope your new Rheumatology Department is as good as Hereford. I have found them very good. Good luck for the future.
