RH hand extensor muscles

Hi everyone, I posted 2 months ago about my rh hand extensor muscles stopped working and am writing to update. The hand is nearly back to normal now and I can move most of all the fingers (except fully extend fingers upwards). I had a nerve conduction test which proved that there was an anomaly in th e forearm muscles, need to go for another in about one months time. One of the treatments given for a flare up at the time was prednisolone, and I have reduced down to between 10 to 5 mg, still can't ditch them completely as I have quite painful hands, but working to get down to 1 to 5 mg hopefully. As someone wrote they are 'the devils sweeties'. One of my problems at the moment is good quality sleep, I don't know if the prednisolone is contributing to this. I've asked my gp if she can help me with it, and she has suggested melatonin (will post again after a months trial)!

Thank you for posting your good news. It's lovely to hear your hand and fingers are so much more mobile. I hope your improvement continues and that you get back to 'normal' (whatever that is) as soon as possible.
