Lower leg pain
Does the burning and freezing sensation go into your feet ? It might be Raynaulds syndrome. Check with your Dr. Keeping my ankles and wrists warm with ankle and wrist warmers helps me a lot.
Maybe nerve pain? I get that sort of thing quite a bit.
Take a look to the right of the page, under Related Posts (including View more). We don't have sections for specific problems but maybe there's something you can relate to there. Or, try using to Search NRAS box at the top right of the page.
If you have an autoimmune disease such as Rheumatoid or Psoriatic Arthritis it could be neurological, either related or not to your meds or maybe inflammation pressing on nerves. If you don't have an autoimmune disease, or even if you do then either make an appointment with another more helpful GP in your Practice or at your next Rheumy or Rheumy nurse appointment, whichever is first. It's obviously concerning for you & it's not helpful when you feel that way & a GP isn't able to help. What was it she said she thought it may be?
Hello Comeon, I empathise with your leg problems. Have you Lupus? I have & suffer with vasculitis & panniculitis. My legs, in particular lower legs are always causing problems. Also I have serious back issues which affect the lower legs. Doctors sometimes have no realisation of the pain & discomfort which their patients are trying to convey to them, but to be fair sometimes my explanations are anything but clear & concise !!
I do hope you get more help from your Dr. & that you always note swellings & rashes to help with diagnosis. Take Good Care of Yourself. Pixiewixie x
Hi Comeon, it could just be Vit B 12 deficiency. RAers also have Neuropathy. I had burning sensation on my back, legs, feet and soles . Got alright with Methylcobalamin, the form of Vit B 12, that is needed. Take it regularly, as vegetarians don't get this from food.
Forgot to say... I also have disc disease. That causes pinched nerves and odd sensation in the legs.
