Thanks to all have replied to me since I joined yesterday, what a fantastic response so far! It is so good being able to speak to people who have had similar experiences and have a shared understanding.

I would be keen to meet face to face too. Are there any support groups in the Edinburgh area or anyone who would like to meet for a coffee ?

Hi Mmrr,

No NRAS Group in Edinburgh yet, but the NRAS Ambassadors in Edinburgh have approached the Rheumatologists at the Western General to take part in setting one up, which is the process used everywhere else. No success as yet, sadly, but if you're interested there will be a discussion about Groups at the NRAS Scottish Gathering on 17th April in Stirling. Watch the NRAS website for details.

Meantime, if you want to meet for a chat in Edinburgh you could message me directly.

Cheers,

John.
