I have been on humira and methotrexate for a number of years due to aggessive RA. Which has been kept under control. I have now been told to use Humira every 3 weeks instead of 2 weeks. Does anyone else inject 3 weekly and r they ok.

Personally no but I have seen people on here being told to do this and yes they were fine.

One lady got off her drugs as they had kicked her into a remission!!! There is a theory the doc told me that especially if your RA starts off very aggressively it can sort of burn itself out. I was surprised as it's a long term condition but let's hope that's happening to you !!!!

Hoping so. I thought it was for life but he said sometimes you just go into remission! I suspect remission means you are better most of the time!

I am still in my first weeks of Humira, and ended up with strep throat thanks to my 9 year old! My immune system has never been strong, but the combination of methotrexate, Humira and a germy kid is horrible! 2 injections in and now waiting for my Rheumatologist to clear me for restart!

Glad to hear you are in remission, longer periods between injection is good news! Congratulations!
