Mine is 10.7 and that's down from over 12 in June. It's to show inflammation in your body. We will always have some inflammation because of our disease but it's a cheap/easy way to try to see how much inflammation is currently happening. Usually they run it with the ESR (sed rate) test.

Ok thanks mine was 12 in Oct when I did it. I'm currently waiting on another med to take while my rummy figures this out.

I just started another med too. I’m waiting for a specialty test in addition to the usual inflammation ones. I’m hoping one of these meds starts working! Good luck on your med trial.

It's a measure of inflammtion but that can also be unrelated to the RA. So say you have an infection then your CRP will rise but not because you have RA. Talk to your doctor for a proper explanation is the best response. x
