You'd probably know if you had this.

Stomach pain, blood and mucus in stool, awful diarrhoea, sometimes constipation, exhaustion, and weight loss. Can also include skin and joint issues.

Hope you don't have it?

Hi Rocky07

I have ulcerative colitis for 14 years.

Main problems for me is running to the toilet with diarrhoea and stomach cramps. You can also have blood and mucus in your stools.

I do get rest bit from it and only go a couple off times in the mornings. However when I am having a flare I can go up to several times in the morning.

Colitis can go into remission and life can be very tolerable.

I am one off the lucky ones as it only seems to affect me in the mornings.

However when I am in a flare every second counts and you need to be very close to a toilet.

I truly hope that you do not have it as it can be a terrible thing to live with.

Wishing you well.

I seem to have the exact same symptoms as you are describing, the Drs have told me that I have diverticulitis, now you have me wondering!!!!!! I my self don't believe in fad diets, however I have had lactose free products for over 12 months now, and I must say that I have been much better, still some bad mornings but not as often. X

Hi Rocky

Hoping things have settled down for you now you're home. I hope you're increasingly feeling better and building in your mobility.

Do you feel you have UC? You throw out some random posts . Do you get anxious about your health generally? I hope you're always confident / able to speak with your medical team about any and all of the concerns you may hold?

Take care

Marie

No need to spend £40 on a tiny 15ml bottle of oil when you can make yourself ginger and peppermint tea for pennies. And if you want add in the other herbs included in the doterra mix.

Many people find ginger and/or peppermint very soothing.

Hi. I suffer from Crohn's disease its in the same family as ulcerative colitis. I don't suffer but I need to get my blood taken regular as one of the tablets can cause liver problems. I take pentasa & azathipine .
